Bascom Bridge’s  Introduction to Adobe Captivate 9 training course teaches attendees how to create interactive eLearning and mLearning (mobile) content. Students learn how to create a complete lesson from scratch and produce interactive training simulations.

ADOBE CAPTIVATE 9 TRAINING OBJECTIVES

All attendees will:

  • Create a Captivate project
  • Use Captivate to record screen activity in a variety of modes
  • Enhance Captivate content with images, pointer paths, buttons, and highlight boxes
  • Add rollover captions, zoom areas, video, animation, and Flash content
  • Create Question Slides
  • Create Image Slideshows
  • Publish the Captivate project in SWF, PDF, and HTML5 formats

ADOBE CAPTIVATE 9 TRAINING PREREQUISITES

No prior Captivate experience is presumed.

ADOBE CAPTIVATE 9 TRAINING MATERIALS

All attendees receive comprehensive, illustrated courseware covering all topics in the course.

SOFTWARE NEEDED FOR EACH PC:

  • Windows 7 or later, or Mac OS X 10.10.3 or later, with the latest system updates and at least 4 GB of RAM (8 GB or more recommended)
  • Adobe Captivate 9 or later with the latest updates installed
  • Microsoft Office 2007 or later (especially PowerPoint and Word)
  • Web browser
  • Adobe Flash Player 10 or later
  • Headset with microphone (optional but recommended for voice-over work)
  • For classes delivered online, all participants need either dual monitors or a separate device logged into the online session so that they can do their work on one screen and watch the instructor on the other. A separate computer connected to a projector or large screen TV would be another way for students to see the instructor’s screen simultaneously with working on their own.
